In contrast, the TNMP segment focuses on providing regulated transmission and distribution infrastructure. It also maintains a fleet of vehicles, service facilities, and office locations, which are either owned or leased throughout its service area. The company delivers power to residential, commercial, and industrial consumers, as well as other electricity end-users in New Mexico and Texas. Originally established in 1882 and headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the company adopted its current name, TXNM Energy, Inc., in August 2024, having previously operated as PNM Resources, Inc.
